Fidelis Manyuchi

Fidelis Manyuchi is a Partner at Scanlen & Holderness, one of Zimbabwe’s leading full-service law firms and a member of the Lex Africa Network.

His practice centres on mergers and acquisitions, mining, energy, infrastructure, foreign investment, and corporate advisory work across Africa. He has advised on transactions involving lithium, gold, chrome, and limestone mining assets, manufacturing businesses, and renewable energy developments, with the aggregate value of matters exceeding US$1 billion.

Fidelis advises multinational corporations, mining companies, financial institutions, infrastructure developers, and international investors on structuring investments and navigating Zimbabwe’s regulatory and commercial landscape. He has also worked with leading law firms from South Africa, China, Mauritius, and other jurisdictions on cross-border transactions and strategic projects.

He has published articles on corporate, commercial, and mining law and is particularly interested in sustainable investment models, institutional development, and value addition initiatives that support long-term economic growth.

Fidelis holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with Distinction and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He also holds a certificate in Capital Markets.
